Senior Python Developer - Team Lead

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 per annum

We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are in EdTech supporting schools across the UK. The business develops cloud based solutions that help schools use technology and data to improve outcomes.

They are looking for a Senior Python Developer with Team Lead experience to join their engineering team. You'll lead development, set technical standards and support the delivery of scalable, cloud native products.

Main Duties of the Role

• Lead the design and development of scalable Python applications
• Provide technical leadership within an Agile environment
• Design and maintain AWS based systems using Infrastructure as Code
• Set best practices across development, testing and deployment
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical innovation

Your Skills and Experience

• 6+ years' Python development experience, including leadership at senior level
• Strong AWS and Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience with APIs, microservices, CI/CD and containerisation
• Agile delivery and team leadership experience
• EdTech or eLearning exposure desirable
