Senior Project Manager (Water / Electrical)

VANRATH is assisting a reputable Electrical & Manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-regarded company with a new office in Cookstown.

This is a permanent, on-site role based Monday to Friday.

Salary: Fully Negotiable + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple key projects from conception to completion, including installation and commissioning.
• Control capital expenditure in line with budgets.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Provide technical expertise in water industry projects.
• Ensure projects meet technical specifications and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers for successful project delivery.
• Represent the company at client sites and meetings.
• Coordinate safety, health, environmental, and quality matters, including risk assessments and legislative compliance, under the guidance of the SHEQ Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

• Engineering qualification or relevant subject.
• Proven success in planning, budgeting, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of industry practices and H&S legislation, including risk assessments and HAZOPS.
• Ability to work independently at remote sites.
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify new opportunities.

Desirable:

• Experience in the water industry, especially in water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
