Job Description
Job Overview 
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major industrial and logistics Build projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and promote high standards of HSEQ on the project, monitor and ensure company policies and procedures are in place in accordance with CPS and statutory requirements.
- Ensure quality of work meets specified standards, manage quality monitoring, minimize defects, and complete all PC snags within 2 weeks of PC.
- Provide site-based leadership for all construction and installation operations; promote Health & Safety management and construction best practices.
- Ensure all new employees, including subcontractors, are instructed on safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Maintain and update the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan and associated Management Plans.
- Prepare, circulate and monitor 2 weekly look ahead subcontractor programmes; produce weekly progress meetings and minutes.
- Maintain the Target Construction Programme, monitor site activity progress against weekly, fortnightly and overall programme target dates.
- Carry out statistical reporting (hours worked, incident reporting, waste records, etc.).
- Contribute to buildability and value engineering based on extensive skills and experience.
- Manage resource and material aspects for site forecasts, controlling plant and labour, including preparation of purchase orders.
- Program and deliver projects up to £5 m on time, within budget and to the required quality.
- Proven experience in large construction / civil engineering projects.
- Ability to produce, implement and manage safety systems of work for construction procedures.
- Ability and confidence to communicate and present to Top Level Management, senior clients, subcontractors and public.
- Understanding of commercial issues involved in undertaking construction projects.
- Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of company policy and procedures including safety and environment related issues.
- Successful experience as a section/trade foreman.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of the set up and day to day running of a construction site.
