Senior Project Manager
OverviewA leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major Front Office Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) upgrade. This role will involve end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, and coordination across technology and front office teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of a CRIMS upgrade project, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Front Office, Technology, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain project plans, reporting, and governance documentation in accordance with SDLC best practices.
- Oversee requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and post deployment activities.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
- Ensure alignment with organisational standards and strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge of Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS / CRD) - highly prioritised.
- Proven experience delivering complex front office or trading system projects within financial services.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and JIRA for project tracking and workflow management.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and governance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with asset management, investment operations, or front office environments.
- Background managing vendor relationships in large scale system upgrade programmes.
Location: London (Onsite, Full-Time)
Contract Length: 12 Months
