Job Description
Overview

Access Talent are excited to announce that we have a new partnership with a rapidly growing Tier 2 contractor based within the water sector. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager who will be able to take the reigns on their projects up and down the country whilst working alongside the divisional manager to deliver their projects in a timely manner. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within a growing national construction company supplying specialist services to the water industry, the Environment Agency and a broad range of private clients, holding 20 Framework agreements nationally.

Responsibilities
  • Take the reins on projects across the country and work with the divisional manager to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers and the wider team face-to-face, in writing and on the telephone.
  • Lead project delivery with a focus on safety, quality and cost control.
Qualifications
  • Ability to understand drawings and construct new build structures
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, 2 of which must have been in a senior managerial role
  • Extensive experience in the delivery of civil engineering projects
  • Possess a nationally recognised certificate of Health and Safety (SMSTS and/or NEBOSH)
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • A good communicator, able to liaise confidently and deal with a variety of people including the client, suppliers and wider team members face-to-face, in writing and on the telephone
  • Organised, focused and self-determined
  • Possess a positive attitude and be committed to high levels of care for staff and the client
  • Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
  • Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel and MS Project
