Senior Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager - RFID Pilot Phase
Location: Predominantly Work From Home (occasional face-to-face meetings)
Contract: 3 months (likely to be extended)
Day Rate: Up to £550/day all-in (approx. £465/day via Umbrella)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the pilot phase of an RFID implementation for a large retail environment. This role will manage delivery at a high level, ensuring successful coordination between our implementation partner and internal stakeholders. You will take responsibility for all aspects of the project's on-site execution, from initial surveys through to final sign-off.
This is a predominantly remote position, with occasional in-person meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Oversee the installation of all RFID units, structured cabling, and related infrastructure.
• 
  Coordinate and monitor site surveys, installation quality, and compliance with agreed specifications.
• 
  Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, to scope, and to the required standard.
• 
  Manage project documentation including progress reports, installation records, and O&M manuals.
• 
  Liaise with multiple stakeholders to track milestones, resolve issues, and maintain delivery timelines.
• 
  Support project handover to operational teams.

Skills & Experience Required

• 
  Proven track record delivering technology or infrastructure rollouts as a Senior Project Manager.
• 
  Hands-on experience with RFID projects, retail technology deployments, or similar multi-site rollouts.
• 
  Strong understanding of structured cabling, hardware installation, and site management processes.
• 
  Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
• 
  Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
