Senior Project Manager

A quick look at the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead on the current Mergers & Acquisitions programme. You will support the due diligence activity and lead on the integration process through to delivery. You will also coordinate cross functional teams within each M&A and facilitate all relevant meetings across the programme.

Your core responsibilities

• Oversee key Mergers & Acquisitions within the Biffa group from due diligence to delivery and synergy realisation.
• Develop, manage and track integration plans.
• Manage the prioritization, scoring and allocation of projects to the team.
• Support the FBP to define, gain approval of, and manage projects budget.
• Understand and apply different project methodologies.
• Engage with the senior management, group function teams and the senior leaders to enhance relationships.
• Formally report on project progress, risks, dependencies and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Provide development and training to project managers.

Our essential requirements

• Qualified Prince 2 Practitioner
• Experience leading similar projects (size, complexity, timescales).
• Experience working as part of a senior, integrated management team, reporting to the executive
• Business operational experience within the waste industry
• Previous line management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of project methodologies and governance frameworks
