Senior Project Manager - Global NPD

We are partnering with a Co. Galway client who are actively looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional NPD programmes across multiple product categories from concept through to global launch. This is an exciting role with a growing organisation who are expanding their teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of product development programmes, ensuring scope, timelines and milestones are met
• Develop and manage integrated project plans across engineering, regulatory, quality, supply chain, and commercial functions
• Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across global teams
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, and critical path dependencies
• Coordinate regulatory timelines and ensure documentation readiness
• Oversee change control, risk mitigation, and post-launch activities
• Support go-to-market readiness and transition to lifecycle management

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field
• 8+ years' experience managing complex NPD programmes, ideally in regulated industries (e.g. medical devices, consumer health, cosmetics)
• Strong knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and design control processes
• Experience with project planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders, resolve conflict, and deliver in fast-paced environments
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally (c.10%)
