Salary: Up to $135,000
Overview:
We're working with a growing LA-based architecture studio that's part of a nationally recognized design firm. The LA team is winning exciting projects and building serious momentum, and they're now looking for a Senior Project Architect who wants to help shape the future of the office.This is a standout opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture but also wants to play a key role in mentoring a team, influencing studio culture, and being part of something that's actively evolving. You'll have the support of a wider national structure, but the impact you make will be felt directly at the local level.
The role is based in Downtown Los Angeles, but the team understands the demands of the commute and the reality of balancing work with family life. They're genuinely flexible, and hybrid arrangements are absolutely part of their culture, especially for senior-level staff.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading the technical delivery of design-led projects across sectors like civic, cultural, education and institutional
Managing drawing sets and documentation in Revit with a focus on quality, coordination and compliance
Guiding teams through all stages from design development through construction administration
Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Mentoring junior staff and playing a key role in team development and leadership
Helping to shape the growth of the LA studio and contributing to broader practice-wide initiatives
What They're Looking For:
10 or more years of professional experience in architecture with a focus on project delivery
Strong Revit skills and a deep understanding of technical detailing, consultant coordination and production workflows
Experience on complex, design-led projects such as cultural, civic or institutional buildings
Someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and keeping things moving efficiently
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to invest in the growth of the team
Familiarity with local codes, permitting and documentation standards in California
Licensure is a plus but not required if your experience is equivalent
