Senior Project & Facilities Manager - UHNW Private Household (Mayfair, London) 
Salary: £100,000+ DOE
Location: Mayfair, London

A UHNW family based in Mayfair is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project & Facilities Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and development of their prestigious property portfolio.
This role requires a hands on professional with strong expertise in engineering, quantity surveying, and end to end project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for work verification, budgeting, contractor management, and maintaining meticulous documentation, while ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities 1. Facilities & Asset Management- Oversee multiple high end residential properties, ensuring all work aligns with specifications, regulations, and timelines.
- Manage day to day operations, maintenance, and repairs across all properties.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules and conduct regular inspections.
- Ensure properties, systems, and equipment are maintained, secure, and operating efficiently.
- Manage maintenance staff, external vendors, and service contracts.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and optimisation across the estate.
- Lead refurbishment, renovation, and property improvement projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and specialist suppliers to ensure exceptional delivery standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of works.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with agreed specifications.
- Review and verify quantities of materials and labour in line with project plans.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Track expenditures and ensure all works remain within agreed financial parameters.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of works completed, materials used, and associated costs.
- Coordinate and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of contractor payments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, timelines, and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare detailed reports on budgets, expenditures, and project progress.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and forecasting for facilities and project costs.
- Ensure all works comply with UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain strong knowledge of construction best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality across all properties and projects.
- Extensive experience in a senior facilities or project management role within private households or high end property environments.
- Proven track record managing refurbishments and complex property projects.
- Strong experience working with Grade II listed properties.
- Minimum 5-10 years' relevant industry experience within the UK.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of UK construction processes, regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in construction/project management software, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret contracts, technical drawings, and work schedules.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with principals, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Proactive, self motivated, and solutions focused.
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Full time position with flexibility required, including occasional travel.
