A highly regarded Professional Liability underwriting team in London is looking to bring an experienced Senior Underwriter on board.

The team write both US and international PI business, mainly primary; including Engineers, Insurance Brokers, Lawyers, Corporate Service Providers, Loss Adjusters and Miscellaneous business.

The role will entail underwriting both new and existing business, negotiating with Brokers and helping develop business globally (which will include some travel).

With regards to experience, the key for this role is experience underwriting and leading primary Professional Indemnity business. International and/ or US business exposure is strongly desired, however pure UK backgrounds will also be considered. Strong relationship building skills with Brokers are also sought, alongside business development skills.
