Senior Production Planner

CREGG are now hiring for an experienced Production Planner/schedule. The role is with a global leading manufacturer of specialty materials.

The Production Planner/scheduler is responsible for end-to-end production and supply chain planning-including raw material procurement, production scheduling, and shipment coordination. This role plays a critical part in responding to customer demand, managing inventory, and supporting new product introductions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage plant production schedules and raw material procurement plans.
• Collaborate with corporate purchasing, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Analyze customer forecasts and manage capacity planning.
• Support new product development with materials planning and RFQ processes.
• Monitor and improve inventory health through metrics, reports, and MRP systems.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in cross-functional teams for projects, change management, and supplier performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred; APICS certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in production/scheduling and/or material planning/purchasing.
• Strong SAP proficiency and understanding of supply chain/purchasing processes.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and quality standards.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies is advantageous.
