The Opportunity:

Explore Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Production Leader to lead a team of three shift-focused Production Team Leaders and a workforce of fifty, ensuring safe operations, quality products, and timely delivery in line with client requirements.

What will the role look like?

• Promoting a Safety-First culture
• Maintaining a trained, competent, and motivated workforce with documented training plans
• Understanding and controlling risks to employees, contractors, and visitors
• Supporting activities with risk assessments and safe working practices, maintained and stored centrally
• Ensuring operational equipment is fit for purpose and regularly inspected
• Maintaining high standards in operational areas
• Manufacturing quality products consistently, adhering to the company QMS
• Delivering production as per the plan, coordinating with planning functions
• Using forecasts and look-ahead data to plan resource, materials, and space requirements
• Investigating departmental occurrences related to HSE and Quality to prevent recurrence
• Managing costs within departmental budgets

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in concrete products, building materials, or construction management
• Relevant industry or professional experience in precast concrete or building materials
• Proven commitment to self-improvement through training
• Self-motivated team player capable of managing a busy production environment
