Senior Production Engineer

My client, an Engineering company based in the Pershore area, is looking to recruit a Senior Production Engineer on a Permanent basis.

This is due to the new contracts secured which ensures the growth and continued development of the company over the next number of years

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Understand Engineering principles, tolerances, materials and specifications in dealing with customer drawings
- Understand Fabrication Techniques including laser cutting, folding, welding, heat treatment, thread inserts, bonding, plating and painting
- Understand limitations of in-house machinery
- Understand build sequences to generate production BOM's and Route Cards
- Ensure integrity of system data
- Understand client brief, design requirements and product specification
- Utilize business MRP for costings of materials
- Produce an maintain associate documentation
- Generate, analyze and process ECN requests and applications of non-conformances, technical concerns, FAIR's and concessions

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Suitable Engineering Degree or time served experience
- experience of working with guideline of BS EN ISO 9001, 3834, EN 15085, predominantly welding and fabrication
- Experience of working with Defense, Aerospace or Rail Industries and application of Def-Stan / Mil-Std, and RIS
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

The salary on offer is up to £40,000

£38,000.00 - £40,000.00 per year
