We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Manager, Payments Commercialisation - 12 Months Secondment. The base location for this role is London operating a Hybrid working model.

This team provides focus to payments product commercialisation activities across the GPS Europe region by defining and promoting GPS payment propositions to internal and external audiences. With a focus on both new strategic product development and our existing propositions for Payables and Receivables, the team's mandate is to support the growth of sales product pipeline.

In this role, you will:
  • Support client engagement with product SME contributions to pre-sales interactions and formal RFPs/RFIs.
  • Drive sales pipeline development for targeted / campaigned products by working with sales/service to identify cross sell opportunities or validate sales lead new-to-bank target name generation.
  • Contribute to GPS's Europe Thought Leadership agenda.
  • Contribute to the elaboration of commercialisation plans, then deliver according to agreed action plans which may include sales training content development and delivery; sales collateral development and maintenance; internal intranet site ownership and external HSBC GPS internet site content development.
  • Drive the development of business analytics to explain underlying business performance, and customer analytics to drive sales pipeline development / cross sell.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • SME Cash Management product knowledge.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
  • Strong and effective stakeholder management skills, ability to build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Brilliant project management skills and experience in tracking multiple workstreams at the same time.

This is a hybrid role and can be based in London or Edinburgh.
