Job Description
Overview

Hi, we're Bloom & Wild. We don't just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It's being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows.

We care wildly about people and our planet. We are a certified B Corp - committed to making long-term positive change for our community, and the world around us.

Founded in 2013, our mission was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We have fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders and are the largest direct-to-consumer flower business in Europe. We're expanding our gifting offering to other categories and aim to build Europe's direct-to-consumer gifting destination.

Product Team

At Bloom & Wild our mission is to become the leading premium gifting platform across Europe. The Product team develops user-facing (e.g. website, apps) and internal digital products (e.g. warehouse technologies) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive loyalty. The team is a collaborative group of Product Managers, Product Designers, Product Analysts and Product & Tech Operations reporting to the Chief Product Officer, with a presence in London, Amsterdam and fully remote. Over 70% of the Product team identify as female. There are 7 squads that operate in fortnightly sprints and own the product area with an associated Product Manager.

Responsibilities

As the Product Manager for Apps, you will be responsible for our iOS and Android apps across Bloom & Wild and bloomon. Our apps are key engagement and loyalty drivers and contribute to our strategy to become the leading premium gifting platform in Europe by enabling easy shopping on the go.

  • Collaborate with PMs in other squads to solve shared opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
  • Define and execute the app product roadmap, ensuring it is outcome-focused and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Work with customers and data to understand App users' needs and pain points across the App experience.
  • Collaborate with Product Design to broaden gifting capabilities while addressing user pain points around gifting.
  • Work with the squad, Engineering Manager and Technical Lead to advance the tech strategy and improve scalability and maintainability of the apps.
  • Consider differences in customer expectations across markets and cultures.
  • Gather best practices from Apple and Google, benchmark against industry standards, and stay updated on App developments.
  • Communicate regular App updates to leadership, stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Collaborate with Data Science to create personalised customer experiences.
  • Work with marketing to increase app visibility and downloads.
