Job Description

tl;dr: we're looking for a pragmatic Senior Product Analyst to help us validate qualitative insights and shape the direction of our enterprise-grade video creation platform alongside a Product Manager.

Overview

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read - both at home and at work. Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale-until now .

Meet Synthesia

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. We're trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald's and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.

In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. Today, we're at a $2.1bn valuation and we recently raised our Series D, bringing our total funding to over $330M from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

Senior Product Analyst - Responsibilities
  • Own our growth experimentation & analytics framework - design experiments, synthesise results, and build decision making frameworks that turn insights into launches
  • Design and analyse A/B and multivariate tests across the entire product and forecast impact and opportunity size for upcoming bets, balancing quick wins with longer horizon initiatives
  • Proactively explore product & funnel data to surface moments of drop off, untapped segments, pricing gaps, and other opportunities to boost revenue or LTV
  • Define how we measure success - set KPIs, construct tracking plans, and dive into leading indicators of user behaviour to steer the roadmap
  • Influence your team's roadmap through crisp presentation of data backed recommendations to PMs, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership
  • Build models for user segmentation, customer lifetime value, and growth loops that help prioritise and size bets
  • Work with Analytics Engineering to prioritise data modelling needs and directly contribute SQL/DBT code to keep our transformed data layer experiment ready
  • Champion a culture of rapid, rigorous experimentation and sharing learnings broadly so we compound knowledge and move quickly
Senior Product Analyst - Requirements
  • Hands on expertise with product experimentation, from hypothesis to statistical read out and recommendation
  • Deep statistical and analytical chops-power analysis, significance testing, causal inference, predictive modelling
  • A proven record of driving measurable uplifts in key growth metrics (signup rate, activation, LTV, retention, referral, ARPU)
  • Experience building user segmentation and LTV models that inform targeting and product strategy
  • Effective storytelling & data visualisation skills; you make experiment outcomes actionable for both execs and ICs
  • Fluency in SQL (window functions, CTEs, optimisation) and familiarity with DBT or similar transformation layers
  • Pragmatism over perfection-knowing when "good enough" data can unblock the next high leverage test
  • Bonus points for experience with feature flag/experimentation platforms (e.g., LaunchDarkly, Optimizely) or growth loop modelling
