Job Description

Primary Objective
We are looking for a Back Office Analyst to manage the day-to-day processing of Corporate Actions and Income (Dividends & Coupons). The role will involve handling mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, entitlement calculations, reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process a wide range of corporate action and income events (eg, stock splits, consolidations, mergers, spinoffs, rights issues, tender offers, IPOs, DRIPs, dividends, and coupons).

  • Perform entitlement calculations based on key event dates.

  • Oversee election management processes for voluntary events.

  • Monitor and reconcile all payable and receivable claims.

  • Escalate and follow up on outstanding claims with external parties.

  • Ensure daily reconciliation and settlement of accounting entries.

  • Maintain strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by management.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: 1-3 years in a Back Office or operations role within financial services.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Understanding of corporate actions and income events.

    • Proficiency in SWIFT payments and reconciliation tools (eg, Intellimatch).

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.

    • Able to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

    • Effective communicator and team player.

    • Disciplined and proactive approach to work.
