Job Description

Incite is an award-winning strategic research and planning consultancy. We unlock opportunity by combining inspiring insight with commercial acumen. We are part of Strat7 - a global tech-enabled strategy, insights and analytics group.

Established in 2000, we are hands-on practitioners with backgrounds in research and consulting. We offer full-service qual, quant and consultancy. We have a global reach and broad-based expertise in B2C and B2B, covering financial services, tech, consumer goods, retail and a specialist health and pharma team.

Every client challenge is tackled with our consulting approach, meaning we're method neutral and our solutions are bespoke to the task at hand - whether that's understanding the future of a category, to finding headroom for growth or making tangible plans for how brands can flourish.

Position

We are looking for a Senior Principal to join our team in London. You will get to work on fabulously diverse, high pace and exciting consumer projects, engaging with a variety of categories such as snacks, drinks, etc.

You will have experience of adding value to individual research projects, making impactful contributions and end-to-end project ownership. You are a can-do and hands-on, with a real desire to learn, and to develop deeper and stronger research and consultancy skills.

The role

As a Principal, you will have a leading role in both the delivery of client projects and the development of client accounts, alongside inspiring and guiding other team members to deliver great work. You will take a strong interest in the wider research and consultancy world, constantly looking to improve our offer and delivery to clients. The role will include:

  • Taking a leading role on projects - ensuring you take the appropriate role on each project, allowing others to develop and shine whilst ensuring the highest quality outcome for the client
  • Involvement at all stages of the project from interrogation of the brief, to design of the solution, analysis and insight generation, creation of impactful outputs and participation in workshops, debriefs etc
  • Leading existing clients' accounts by managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities with these clients
  • Responsibility for development of people as part of a project team - giving feedback, identifying opportunities for Associates or less experienced Principals to develop

  • A robust qualitative skillset - comfortable with online and offline qualitative approaches
  • Appetite for facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
  • A strong track record of growing accounts over time, through a mix of great work and development of strong relationships with your clients
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
