We have an opportunity for a Senior Planner with previous relevant industry experience no less than three years industry experience to join us in Soho, London. You will be working alongside a tight-knit and ambitious group of experienced planning professionals assisting on all aspects of the planning process from site promotion to planning appeals.
You will be a key point of contact for project teams, local planning authority officers and other stakeholders, playing an important role in client/project meetings and responsible for driving projects forward and helping our clients achieve their development related objectives. You will also be the face of Quod, representing the business and our clients at public meetings and other events.
What are you going to do

Key role responsibilities

Working alongside senior colleagues to manage and deliver complex planning projects including the provision of technical advice, the preparation of planning applications and supporting appeal documentation and general project management. ;
Preparing well considered and accurate written planning advice;
Produce comprehensive and professional reports and correspondence;
Manage and build relationships with new and existing clients;
Leading on certain project and client meetings
Playing a key role in the preparation of fee proposals and tenders
Leading on the management of consultant teams
Opportunities to coach and support junior employees

What we ask
Degree or higher in relevant subject, MRTPI/APC
RTPI accreditation
Experience of medium and large-scale projects and planning applications
Excellent analytical, verbal and written skills
A strong understanding of UK planning
Experience of the London planning system
A strong commercial awareness and exercises sound judgment and integrity
Positive, hard-working attitude
Independent problem solver
Enjoys responsibility and integrating/collaborating with other teams
Demonstrate a professional manner both internally and externally
