Job Description
Senior Pharmacy Technician - Molecular Imaging Research Centre

Base: Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. You will initially be appointed as a band 4 Pharmacy Technician, required to complete competency training within 2 3 months and no more than 18 months. Band 5 will be awarded upon satisfactory completion.
Main duties- Work as part of the Molecular Imaging Research Centre team, providing high quality aseptic services.
- Participate in the department's rota system, including weekend and bank holiday duties as required.
- Undertake structured competencies and training within an agreed timeframe.
- Accurately dispense medication and utilise relevant computer software.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and the public.
- Support the development of new services and undertake additional training as needed.
- Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC.
- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- NVQ City & Guilds Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
- PIPC accredited qualification.
- QCF Level 4 or above in a relevant qualification.
- Experience in an aseptic unit or hospital pharmacy.
- Accuracy in dispensing processes and use of computer software.
- Strong communication skills with healthcare professionals and the public.
- Previous supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to CPD, maintaining registration competencies.
