This is an excited opportunity to work in a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facilities. The Aseptic Services Senior Pharmacist is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the pharmacy technical services unit to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant preparation of sterile medicinal products under our Specials Manufacturing license.
Main duties of the jobThe postholder oversees day-to-day GMP activities, supervises and trains pharmacy staff and technicians, ensures quality assurance procedures are maintained. The postholder also will lead on the validation and qualification of state of the art manufacturing equipment to ensure GMP compliance. They role act as the key liaison between the customers, clinical teams and the production unit, providing pharmaceutical advice on the use of injectable therapies, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and other sterile products.

Qualifications- Registered pharmacist
- Minimum 4 years hospital experience
- Aseptic experience
- Business planning experience
- GMP experience and understanding
- Oncology therapeutics
- Technical and aseptic services knowledge and experience
- Regulatory inspection experience
- General clinical pharmacy practice
- Time management
- Demonstrate effective multi-disciplinary team work

£70,396 to £80,837 per year, inclusive of High Cost Area Supplement (pro rata)
