Make Your MarkThis key regional role is responsible for building relationships and partnering with business leaders across Europe, including our VP, Engineering. As one of two Senior HRBPs supporting our 12 European countries, you need deep technical expertise, high empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Senior People Partners engage in a hands on consultative manner, identifying talent needs, critical skills gaps, forecasting and developing plans for OD and internal mobility, and leading strategic, project based people and business initiatives.
You'll Get To- Provide best in class HR support for our Product & Technology (P&T), Customer Support, and G&A functions across Europe.
- Leverage human resources subject matter expertise in the formulation, recommendation, and deployment of complex HR programmes and policies within your assigned functions, combining strategic sense with the willingness to roll up your sleeves for hands on tactical execution.
- Provide coaching and guidance to regional business leaders at all levels within your client groups.
- Serve as the company HR representative for our French Works Council, partnering with our Deputy General Counsel.
- Partner with and support fellow HR Business Partners across the team as needed, stepping in to assist with complex Employee Relations (ER) cases, internal transfers, and other key initiatives.
- Work with business leaders and finance partners on workforce and succession planning, collaborating closely with US HR Business Partners to ensure alignment with our global talent strategy.
- Establish key talent metrics and KPIs to measure performance within the business and proactively highlight areas of risk and opportunity.
- Use a data driven approach to analyse trends, inform decisions, and implement actions to increase productivity and retention.
- Support all cyclical programmes including quarterly performance check ins, annual reviews, compensation (merit) review processes, 9 box talent mapping, and succession planning.
- Analyse data from, and implement programmes to address feedback in, our global engagement surveys.
- Contribute functional insights and collaborate with our Talent Development team to shape development programmes for high potential employees and key talent, including international events for our global Quarterly Learning Days.
- Partner with our Total Rewards team to align compensation with competitive market expectations and partner on projects such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- Lead the execution of change efforts and communication strategies related to HR and other organisation wide programmes.
- Work collaboratively with our People Operations team and COEs to ensure best practice and a constant focus on process improvement.
- Exercise discretion and judgement to make critical decisions in administering internal policies and controls in compliance with applicable legislation (SOX, Information Security, ESG, internal audits).
- Be an active partner in a highly collaborative international Human Resources team, acting as a strong role model and providing coaching and mentorship for professional growth to the business and early career People professionals.
- Significant experience in progressive HRBP leadership (typically 10+ years), preferably within a global or tech focused environment.
- University degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in French (required for French Works Council engagement) and English.
- An AI forward mindset and an interest in adopting new technologies to improve HR processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and organisational savvy; the ability to navigate complex environments and build lasting relationships across the organisation.
- A role as a trusted advisor who collaborates with stakeholders, invites different perspectives, advises on talent implications, and presents alternative solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of organisational design, staffing, L&D, and employment law (ethics, conduct, wellness, wage/hour, time tracking, Works Councils/CBAs, and leaves of absence).
- The ability to translate information and insights into consultative or hands on problem solving support.
- A big picture mindset that aligns HR goals with BlackLine's business strategy and translates vision into action.
- A resilient approach to problem solving, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a high growth environment.
- Strong project management fundamentals with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workday, and ATS platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- A proactive, "sleeves rolled up" attitude focused on both solving and preventing problems.
