Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff, for the position of Senior Parts Advisor.

This role is ideal for individuals with recent experience in the automotive industry who are seeking a new opportunity to advance their career within a reputable dealership group.

  • Salary up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • On-target earnings of £35,000 per annum based on customer satisfaction scores - 22 days annual holiday, increasing to 25 days with length of service, plus bank holidays

  • Genuine career progression opportunities within a long-standing dealership group with over 60 years of operation Duties of a Senior Parts Advisor:
  • Accurately identify, pick, and supply vehicle parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to trade and retail clients regarding parts inquiries
  • Maintain stock control and carry out regular audits as a Senior Parts Advisor
  • Work collaboratively with the parts team, reporting to the Parts Manager
  • Floating between front and back counter duties as required
  • Utilise electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Kerridge/CDK)
  • Ensure efficient parts supply chain and stock management Requirements of a Senior Parts Advisor:
  • Recent or current experience within the automotive industry, ideally in parts or aftersales departments
  • Familiarity with vehicle types and automotive parts processes
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management software
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and engaging manner
  • Ideally hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
