The Senior Parks and Landscape Officer works within the Community Cultural Services and Parks Department to plan, design, and manage County landscape, enhancing quality of life through green and sustainable spaces.

Main Duties of the Job

• Contribute to the development and delivery of a long term vision that promotes the physical, social, cultural and economic environment in an integrated way.
• Lead and manage a team to deliver on areas and programmes within remit, ensuring strong focus on results.
• Initiate, develop and drive appropriate change programmes that enhance the range and quality of services.
• Collaborate with Council, Strategic Policy Committees, and Local Community Development Committee to develop policy and strategic plans aligned with national priorities, delivering projects efficiently to meet local needs.

Benefits

• Salary Scale effective from 1st June 2026.
• Hours of attendance fixed but not less than 35 hours gross per week.
