MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We're seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team, focusing on a fee-earning role in non-complex Will and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) drafting.
In this position, you'll provide direct support to your team members to ensure they can operate at peak efficiency. This will include, but will not be limited to, the main responsibilities given below. The paralegal is expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.

- Proven track record of advising clients and drafting non-complex Wills and LPAs
- Confident in communicating with clients
KEY TASKS
- To assist with the following: gathering asset information, asset valuation, liaising with clients and third parties; client visits; preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills (under the supervision of senior fee earners)
- To take an active role in our upcoming 'Will Bank Data Cleanse' project, in which we'll be reaching out to our long-standing existing client base to offer a valuable service, ensuring our clients' estate plans remain up-to-date and reflect their current wishes and circumstances.
- Prepare correspondence and documents as instructed
- Adhere to company procedures relating to file opening, observance of money laundering and other compliance procedures, and matter management
- Liaise with clients in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care
- Undertake any specific training when required to do so
- Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information
- Attend and participate in departmental and office meetings when required
- Undertake any other duties as are reasonably required within the course of your employment
