About you

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary (MEP) engineering projects from start to finish, positively engaging with the client and supporting them in achieving their goals. Our team leads will support you to lead all aspects of the project, including project team, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget, to deliver high quality outputs for our clients.

We are excited to see you develop and oversee mechanical concepts and design solutions.

Then lead a project team to deliver detailed design to required standards, producing required design calculations.

We are eager for someone who wants to contribute to our work winning activity alongside our MEP lead and Regional Director.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary MEP engineering projects from start to finish, owning project team, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget, ensuring high quality outputs.

Develop and oversee mechanical concepts and design solutions.

Produce required design calculations and detailed design to required standards.

Champion an inclusive, supportive culture and collaborate closely with external design teams.

Additional responsibilities include
  • Developing and mentoring junior engineers, including supporting chartership routes.
  • Contributing to innovation, process improvement, and technical excellence initiatives.
  • Assisting with aspects of team management, supporting our MEP lead in activities such as resource planning, line management, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor's or Master's).
  • A proven background in Building Services design.
  • A track record working across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, residential and/or industrial.
  • Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IED/Amtech.
