About the Opportunity


A well-established, independent, family-run British business has been introducing authentic English pub experiences to major cities across France since the mid-1990s. Each venue is distinct, but all are united by their lively atmosphere, traditional English décor, and a menu featuring quality craft beers brewed in England, alongside classic pub fare.


These establishments are known for their welcoming, multilingual staff and for hosting a variety of events, including live music, pub quizzes, and sports screenings, making them popular destinations for both locals and tourists seeking a genuine taste of England in France


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational performance of multiple sites, ensuring consistency and excellence across production facilities, warehousing, and hospitality venues.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and hospitality teams to achieve business objectives and uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Manage supply chain logistics, including procurement, inventory, and distribution, to ensure efficient stock management and timely deliveries.
  • Champion health, safety, and compliance practices, maintaining a secure and legally compliant environment across all locations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire diverse teams across various sites-supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Ensure seamless execution of customer orders and on-site experiences, supporting both wholesale and retail operations.
  • Maintain operational readiness and high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout all brewery and hospitality spaces.
  • Play an active role in the launch of new products and the delivery of special events, working collaboratively to ensure success.


About You

  • Demonstrated experience managing operations across multiple sites within the bar, food & beverage sectors.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support teams in a dynamic, multi-location environment.
  • Strong background in business development, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives that enhance market presence and revenue.
  • Experience managing large-scale events, ensuring flawless planning, coordination, and execution to deliver memorable customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating high-volume, wet-led businesses, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of drink-focused venues in dynamic markets.
  • A proactive, sleeves-rolled-up attitude-ready to step in and work alongside your team to solve challenges and ensure smooth operations.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and able to adapt quickly to new priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in business English; French language is a requirement.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proficient with IT systems and inventory management software.
  • Genuine passion for craft beer and delivering memorable customer experiences.
