Job Description

We're seeking a Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to join a private cloud team. This role is crucial for building and integrating a new OpenShift Container Platform on Bare Metal from the ground up.

About the Role

This position focuses on the complex integration of critical technologies into the OpenShift environment. You'll be instrumental in delivering a fully integrated, production-ready platform for enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy a new OpenShift Container Platform on Bare Metal.
  • Lead end-to-end integration of diverse components including Aqua Security, Splunk, Portworx, Cisco networking, load balancers, and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM)/ROSA.
  • Ensure seamless functionality and readiness for production workloads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive automation efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Expertise in building and integrating OpenShift platforms from scratch.
  • Deep practical experience with OpenShift, Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), and/or ROSA.
  • Hands-on experience with Portworx, Aqua Security, Splunk, Cisco networking, and various load balancing solutions.
  • Strong Scripting and automation skills (eg, Ansible, Python).
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities across complex stacks.
  • Pro-active, innovative mindset with strong initiative.
