Job Description
Overview

InHealth is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy team at our new Community Diagnostic Centre in Bristol. You will deliver Endoscopy services to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical, and social needs of patients.

Main duties of the job

What you will do:

  • Take ownership and fulfil the requirements of any statutory and mandatory training
  • Deliver endoscopy services to the highest standards, carrying out pre-, peri- and post-endoscopy care
  • Complete competency assessments
  • Lead teams of registered nurses and healthcare workers, escalating clinically where appropriate
  • Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide a safe care environment, including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment, with particular focus on infection control
About you
  • An experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse, with an advanced diploma of higher education in Nursing
  • A team player who is supportive, reliable, and trustworthy, who creates a positive atmosphere
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (written, verbal and listening)
  • Instils confidence in colleagues and remains calm under pressure
