The Customer Solutions DesignSpecialist independently executes a range of workstreams in the creation of end-to-end technical designs, ensuring that business requirements are successful translated into deliverable solutions, which meet customer needs whilst considering the impact of those solutions on all technical and business areas.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead the technical delivery of transformational network projects for major UK Public Sector accounts.
  • Align customer network strategies with their business goals using standardized methodologies.
  • Design and implement tailored network solutions in collaboration with Practice Managers, Technical Leads, and other engineers.
  • Support pre-sales, planning, and deployment across diverse ICT infrastructure elements, including security, WAN optimization, and load balancing.
  • Provide expert consultancy and resolve technical issues using recognized tools and innovative approaches to deliver robust network designs.
Skills You'll Need
  • CCIE Data Centre certified or working toward certification, with strong experience in complex network delivery for major customers.
  • Proven ability to assess customer needs and design tailored solutions for both standard and non-standard network requirements.
  • Expert in WAN, LAN, and WLAN design, with a deep technical understanding across all layers of network architecture.
  • Skilled in creating high-quality technical designs, customer-facing proposals, and detailed cost models.
  • Experienced in leading network transformation initiatives, clearly communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
