In this role you will:- Lead complex, multi quarter projects with ambiguous requirements and drive them to successful completion.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide them through technical and career development.
- Collaborate with tech leadership and cross functional teams to define and deliver scalable mobile solutions.
- Design, implement, test, and deploy high quality iOS features using SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, and Cocoa frameworks.
- Promote best in class mobile practices including UI/UX excellence, operational resilience, and platform centric features.
- Drive technical design end to end and contribute to architectural decisions across multiple projects.
- Advocate for code quality through testing, monitoring, alerting, and tooling (e.g., linters, code coverage).
- Analyze and optimize app performance using metrics and monitoring tools.
- Translate product needs into clear engineering direction and deliver impactful solutions.
- Contribute to the broader engineering community through blog posts, open source contributions, or tech talks.
- Act as a spokesperson for software design best practices and mobile product thinking.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in iOS development with SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, and Cocoa.
- Formal mentorship experience with at least 3 individuals.
- Proven experience leading multiple long term, multi quarter projects in decentralized teams.
- Familiarity with Android and/or web technologies.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate the development process.
- Experience driving product and tech initiatives independently.
- Deep understanding of testing, monitoring, and operational excellence in mobile environments.
- Demonstrated ability to justify technology choices to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
