We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join the Mental Health team at HMP Highpoint, a Category C prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk. The Primary Care team includes 15 staff across Senior Primary Care Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Non Medical Prescribers.
Hours and SalaryMonday-Sunday service 37.5 hours per week
08 00 (weekends on rota, 4 week rolling rota). Open to discuss lower hours.
Annual salary £43,609 - £49,175 per annum (based on experience).

- Assess and manage patients' mental health needs.
- Collaborate with the multi disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner, managing a caseload, assessing physical, social and psychological needs to develop holistic care plans.
- Contribute to nursing strategy and vision, providing evidence based care and acting on patient feedback.
- Deliver non judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care following policies and procedures, always considering safeguarding.
- Registered with HCPC or NMC as Occupational Therapist or Social Worker (essential).
- Experience in mental health settings and multi disciplinary collaboration.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Experience working with other agencies and stakeholders.
