You're not the kind of Marine Cargo claims professional who sits quietly behind a desk. The team is busy, growing, and performing at a high level, and they need a senior professional who can elevate the claims proposition further. You will have real scope to shape claims strategy, influence how the team operates, and, in time, carve out a path toward a Head of role. The business embraces your voice and experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with brokers and take a lead in market discussions to shape claims strategy.
• Drive a solutions led, commercially minded approach to every file and influence outcomes on complex claims.
• Influence the team's operations and contribute to longer term claims strategy.
• Collaborate across underwriters and brokers to push the market to achieve results.
• Operate in a fast paced environment with a focus on delivering results and strategic value.
• Progress toward senior leadership opportunities (e.g., Head of role) as the team expands.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong Marine Cargo claims expertise with a preference for a decade of relevant experience.
• Background in either brokerage or carrier environments with the ability to operate at a senior level.
• Comfort in fast paced settings and confidence in pushing the market to achieve results.

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary in the £100,000 - £140,000 range, plus a suite of benefits including health insurance, pension, and bonus. The opportunity can progress into a larger role as the team expands. The team tends to operate in the office 4 days a week with 1 day from home.
