The Logistics Process Integration Manager leads the digital deployment of Logistics capabilities and continuous improvement efforts in the area of Transportation and Warehousing, enabling BMS Global Supply Chain (GSC) to deliver on its strategic goals. This role drives digital and AI integration programs across strategic Logistics processes, leading to change management initiatives, and owns business application implementations. It is responsible for managing cross functional program and project teams, driving adherence to deadlines, developing scope, and managing risks, issues and actions associated with the program. Partners with GCO leaders across the organization to deliver sustainable, effective solutions. Mentors and coaches junior process leaders. The candidate collaborates with stakeholders including GSC Pillar leadership, functional teams, IT, finance, and other GCOs to ensure consistent execution and drive toward best in class maturity of the assigned capability.

Responsibilities
  • Manages digital Logistics integration program for multiple markets in partnership with the corresponding commercial organizations.
  • Devises execution strategies to meet project or program timelines and deliverables.
  • Develops partnerships with other GPS leaders to ensure that the ERP and financial systems are aligned with the business objectives and determines the best use of internal and external resources in realizing those goals.
  • Manages execution of programs within the digital and capability roadmap in coordination with IT and various GPS business functions.
  • Manages UAT strategy across GPS and commercial organizations.
  • Drives business process excellence to identify and implement improvement opportunities and develop best practices.
  • Manages and executes cutover strategies for system go lives.
  • Interfaces with multiple internal and external partners (3PL, CMOs) including distribution, logistics, inventory planning and purchasing, sales operations, and finance to align on assumptions and implications for distribution optimization.
  • Uses benchmarking and process KPIs to define opportunities for capability improvement, bringing an outside in perspective to drive best in class capabilities.
  • Provides process expertise, as required, and ensures accuracy of accompanying business process models within its capability scope.
  • Helps the organization transition through disruption at a faster pace and enables accelerated change management with digital evolution.
Digital & Analytical Acumen

Supports the department's overarching digital SAP strategy. Identifies and champions emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) that can create a competitive advantage and transform business models at an enterprise level. Understands the impacts of functional decisions on key KPIs (e.g., cost per unit, inventory turnover, fulfillment rates, supplier lead times). Models a growth mindset by continually learning and experimenting with digital innovations, fostering a digitally savvy team culture. Familiar with AI and ML system features including performance and expectation management, optimization, etc. Actively upskills on emerging digital technologies and analytics techniques, showing agility in adopting tools and machine learning.

Qualifications
  • Additional professional and personal requirements include: comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain, including key business drivers, systems architecture, and tool integration (ERP, APS, TMS, Quickbase, etc.); strong understanding of global Logistics processes, with experience in process optimization and standardization while leveraging digital solutions and technologies; Lean Six Sigma experience preferred; strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to identify and prioritize issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
  • Education: B.S. or B.A. in supply chain or logistics management, technical field (biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering, or related disciplines) or data science; master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management strongly preferred (e.g., APICS CSCP/CPIM). Operational excellence experience (Green/Black belt or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Logistics Management including Transportation Management and Logistics 3PL Management; 3+ years' experience in SAP; prior enterprise SAP implementations a plus; experience in Quickbase is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading transformational projects with high performing teams and cross functional teams; demonstrated ability to identify and deploy innovative ideas that optimize processes and create value.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification highly desired.
  • Understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), FDA and other regulatory requirements; exposure to Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, principles, and practices.
