ROLE SUMMARY: The role holder will enable data-driven decision-making across the Engineering change portfolio, supporting strategic planning, performance tracking, automation and continuous improvement. This role involves handling and evaluating complex datasets, aligning tooling and standards, and generating executive-level insights and visualisation to advise delivery and change governance.The role Reports to the Group Engineering Portfolio Director . And requires strong alignment and collaboration with Engineering delivery teams, as well as Group Change Management, Finance, and Risk. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Analysing and interpret complex data ( £200m of change projects within the Portfolio), uncover trends, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio Implementing controls to ensure data quality (accuracy, consistency, completeness, compliance) Own the development and adoption of best practices for data tracking, reporting, and KPI measurement within Clarity and other tools Designing and implementing models to forecast delivery performance, resource utilisation, and outcomes Developing and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support strategic decision-making Automate data workflows and reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PMOs, Finance, Risk, and Engineering teams to embed data science capabilities into portfolio governance and delivery Support the adoption and optimisation of portfolio tools (e.g. Clarity PPM) through data-driven enhancements Ensure alignment with the Group's change framework, contributing to its evolution through data-driven recommendations Provide direction on leadership on data strategy WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Educated to degree level or higher in a STEM field Advanced experience with PPM tools and their application (strong preference for Clarity) Extensive experience working with large datasets, including data cleansing, variance analysis, transformation, and generating insights for decision making Excel skills, including: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query, DAX, and complex formulas/logic Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, and Python for enhanced analysis and automation Strong ability to present data driven insights in executive level PowerPoint decks with high accuracy and consistent, professional formatting Demonstrable deep expertise in IT project environments Strong planning, organisational, and mentoring skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all organisational levels Shown capability in handling and influencing a wide network of stakeholders, building positive relationships Confident in challenging customers and stakeholders to fully understand their needs A creative problem solver capable of identifying elegant, effective solutions Career Stage: Manager London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information: Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
