Job Description

To champion, promote and deliver best in class Earned Media (PR) and Influence strategies and activations, embedding St-Germain and Martini into the cultural conversation and zeitgeist.

You will help steward two icons in the aperitif space: ST-GERMAIN, the original elderflower liqueur beloved for its fresh picked floral profile and modern spritz culture; and MARTINI, the Italian standard bearer for vermouth and sparkling wines synonymous with timeless aperitivo and convivial style. As Senior Manager, PR & Influence (Global), you'll join an entrepreneurial team and report to the Global VP of Brand PR, Influence & Partnerships for the Bacardi portfolio. You will be responsible for developing PR & Influencer strategies for local deployment, leading local brand activations and PR campaigns, and managing evergreen activities for key markets around the world.

About You

This role is for an experienced communicator who has a track record in managing multiple stakeholders and is a confident self starter in their work style. You are a doer and an executor. Not a delegator. You approach projects in a collaborative solution oriented mindset working in cross functional teams within a global business matrix. Someone who gets things done, executes with excellence and can manage multiple projects at one time.

Responsibilities
  • To champion, promote and deliver best in class Earned Media (PR) and Influence strategy, plans and execution that embed St-Germain and Martini into the cultural conversation and the hearts and minds of consumers.
  • Work within small but dynamic Global Brand PR and Influence team creating best in class PR, global partnerships and influence campaigns.
  • Day to day Brand PR and Influence lead for St-Germain globally, including leading global campaigns with talent and partnerships as well as developing plans for key markets including the US, UK and France. Service as day to day support for Brand PR and Influence for Martini, reporting into a Global Director.
  • Sitting across our Aperitivo portfolio, be the steward across both brands for external and internal communications, ensuring messaging alignment/differentiation and developing trade media strategies, working closely with Corporate Comms and Commercial Leads.
  • Develop the PR and Influence strategy for local deployment, leading local executions of campaigns, and managing evergreen PR & Influence activities across key markets.
  • Lead multiple PR agency relationships across key markets and have the gravitas to operate at senior level in a matrix global organisation.
  • Partner with Brand PR Leads, Global Brand Teams and regional Brand Teams to lead the annual PR and Influence strategy and activity calendar, as well as goal setting and measurement & evaluation.
  • Source and vet new brand partnership opportunities, leading through the line execution and manage the ongoing relationships.
  • In addition to brand tentpole moments, develop in partnership with agencies annual plans to ensure a steady stream of media and influencer coverage year round through hardworking and creative press office plans to drive share of voice for St. Germain and Martini.
  • Develop and manage top tier influencer and talent relationships to support integrated brand campaigns.
  • Work closely with IAT to execute creative, integrated, and innovative activity that drives scale and impact.
  • Draft succinct and compelling press materials and brand narratives. Develop key messaging, briefing and media training for executives, brand ambassadors or talent spokespersons to ensure soundbites are compelling for media for the target audience. Work closely with Global Brand VP, Brand Directors and Creative Directors on campaign development/IATs, developing messaging, project management, budget management.
Skills
  • Proven ability to think strategically and expertise in delivering culture defining PR, Influencer and Comms work for portfolio brands, executing brilliantly to build brand awareness and allure.
  • This role is for a leader who is a doer. Not a delegator. This role is for an executor and someone who is not afraid to get hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner working in cross functional teams. Someone who gets things done, plans and executes with excellence, can lead and manage multiple projects at one time and who has a good sense of humour.
  • Must have a solid foundation and experience working at a PR & Influencer agency (this is required).
  • Ability to travel and be in person for activations across our key markets.
  • An experienced strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders; you'll have a track record in working with Executives, Brand Spokespeople, A list Talent, Ambassadors and Influencers/Creators to deliver outstanding PR campaigns, ensuring alignment and understanding and buy in.
  • Strong network of talent, influencers and global agency contacts, to develop and activate within integrated campaigns building on brand cultural relevancy.
  • This person knows how to advise and execute and has a solid foundation across traditional public relations, digital and video communications; social and influencer strategy, culture marketing and global partnerships to ensure our brands use the most modern PR methods.
  • You'll have experience with and an understanding of the media landscapes in EUROPE and AMEA (Asia, Middle East & Africa), with some key markets including U.K., France, Spain, U.A.E. as well as understanding PR and Influence restrictions for dark markets. Having a rolodex of strong media contacts is a plus.
