Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Senior Manager to assist with the management of multiple facilities across the West of Ireland

Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Developing and managing the facility in response to identified needs.
  • Liaising with relevant parties to ensure the needs of residents are catered for and the requirements of the facility are adhered to.
  • Implementing monitoring and evaluation procedures to determine service effectiveness
  • Teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the team and ensuring security and maintenance of the building and its contents.
  • Achieving and maintaining the highest standards in quality, health and safety, maintenance, security etc.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures. and promoting company vision, values, and mission
  • Having a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development, and review of best practice.
  • Attending training and meetings as required and participating in performance reviews.
  • Managing and supervising the facility's staff and volunteers and responsible for weekly schedule, annual leave cover and timesheets
  • Recruiting and selecting staff and volunteers. and organising regular staff meetings and developing effective means of communication within the facility.
  • Providing information, advice, and explanation to staff, users, and carers, ensuring full access to information
  • Participate in and coordinate training programmes for staff.
  • Ordering supplies and services in line with resident requirements and budgets.
  • Maintaining efficient administrative systems and records as appropriate.
  • Dealing with correspondence and other clerical and administrative duties as required.
  • Managing budgets, ensuring that all resources are used cost-effectively within specified guidelines.
  • Any other duties relating to the post which may be deemed appropriate from time to time.
Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience within a care setting, such as social care, nursing, or elder care, is an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills, empathy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Computer Literate
  • Full driving licence an advantage
  • Garda vetting is mandatory
