Overview

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for LAS Registrar (Senior Clinical Fellow, ST3+) in Plastic Surgery & Burns at the Manchester Centre for Plastic Surgery & Burns. The closing date is 30 September 2025.

About us

The Manchester Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns is a tertiary referral service, caring for a supra-regional population of 2.8 million people. The Centre is well regarded for its strengths in clinical care, training and academia. We are associated with the Blond McIndoe plastic surgery research laboratory at the University of Manchester, and we have close links to the University's medical school.

Candidates must have full registration with the General Medical Council.

Person Specification Qualifications & Training
  • Medical Degree
  • To have achieved minimum competencies expected of ST3 or equivalent in the desired specialty
  • MRCS or equivalent
  • 12 months experience in the desired specialty

  • Distinctions or Prizes during undergraduate training
  • Research & Publications
Attributes
  • Ability to assess and interpret complicated and conflicting information and use judgement where appropriate
  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Active registration and licence to practice with the GMC at the time of appointment (via Manchester International Fellowship Scheme)
