Senior Licensed Conveyancer - Ilkley - Competitive Salary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Licensed Conveyancer to join our busy and growing property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancer who can manage a full caseload of residential property matters while also supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued development of the department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high standard of legal services and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and title documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors throughout the transaction process
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures
• Providing guidance and support to junior staff and conveyancing assistants where required
• Maintaining high levels of client care and communication
• Assisting with the continued growth and development of the property department

Requirements

• Qualified Licensed Conveyancer with significant residential conveyancing experience
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
