Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a charity to recruit a Senior Legacy Marketing Manager for a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a sector-leading Legacy and In Memory Giving programme during a key period of strategic growth.
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving and Legacy Marketing, you will oversee the charity s Legacy and In Memory marketing activity, delivering a best-in-class supporter experience and driving long-term income growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Legacy Marketing Strategy, focused on increasing legacy intenders and pledgers.
- Lead the ongoing development of a stewardship and acquisition programme, ensuring engaging and insight-led supporter journeys.
- Shape and deliver a long-term In Memory Giving strategy, working collaboratively across internal teams and with external agencies.
- Manage a budget with oversight of expenditure and income targets.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of legacy and in-memory campaigns across multiple channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with creative, media, and Free Will scheme partners to ensure campaigns are effective, compliant, and on brand.
- Line manage a Legacy Manager, with indirect management of senior executives.
Person Specification:
- Substantial experience in legacy marketing or legacy fundraising, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- A proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong strategic planning and budget management capabilities.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing agencies and supplier contracts, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective delivery.
- Demonstrable understanding of data protection, fundraising regulation, and compliance.
- Strong leadership and line management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with a keen eye for innovation and continuous improvement.

- A fantastic salary of £45,000 to £50,000 for the successful candidate.
