Senior Learner Services Advisor About the Role 
We are seeking a creative, dynamic and compassionate Senior Learning Support Assistant (Senior LSA) to play a key role in promoting inclusion, wellbeing and achievement across our college community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings warmth and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive, both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities- Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL): Support the safeguarding of students, ensuring timely intervention, accurate record-keeping and effective liaison with internal and external partners.
- Leadership and Coordination: Line manage and support the Learning Support Assistant (LSA) team, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity and high expectations.
- Exams and Access Arrangements: Coordinate Exam Access Arrangements (EAA's) across the college, ensuring all processes are compliant and inclusive.
- Pastoral and Inclusion Support: Work closely with pastoral, SEND and curriculum teams to promote inclusion, engagement and emotional wellbeing for all learners.
- Collaboration: Partner with teaching staff, support teams, and external professionals to remove barriers to learning and enhance the student experience.
- Operational Support: Contribute to wider college initiatives, events and student support activities that promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
- A creative approach to supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- A team player who also demonstrates independence, initiative and drive.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing EAA's and team coordination.
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students, staff and external agencies.
- A genuine love for inclusion and commitment to the values of equity and compassion.
