Role scope includes managing a portfolio of projects that are internal (large capital improvements & remodels) or initiated by Sales to customize the portfolio for enterprise clients. The Senior Lead, Project Management coordinates a cross-functional internal team and engages third party vendors to drive project delivery. Travel may be required to maintain presence across all projects. The territory currently includes London, Dublin, Cambridge, and Manchester, with potential expansion to continental Europe depending on pipeline.

Stakeholders include Landlords, Brokers, Architects, Engineers, Planning Authorities, Facilities Managers, Corporate Clients, Internal Design, Supply Chain, Cost Management, ICT, Sales, Operations, and Legal teams. The ideal candidate has knowledge of retail fit-out, architecture, construction, and real estate; can engage directly with clients; and can balance competing priorities. Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to distill complex situations into clear, measurable project delivery plans are required. Self-motivation, teamwork, and a passion for design and construction are also important.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload to meet timelines
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account teams on development and presentation of custom proposals, including test fits/layouts, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Provide advisory services to the Sales team and the client to offer competitive customization solutions and implement them diligently
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for end-to-end project matters
  • Coordinate resources across cross-functional teams such as Design, ICT, Security, Project Management, Cost Management, and Arts & Graphics
  • Maintain project reporting data in Procore and report weekly to a Senior Project Manager
  • Coordinate with commercial and legal teams to ensure that lease agreements and member agreements protect the company's interests
  • Identify, raise, and resolve project risks and issues using standard company processes
  • Ensure end-to-end project compliance with WeWork standards and best practices
  • Scope responsibilities for external stakeholders and maintain proactive information dispersion
  • Maintain primary financial oversight with support from Cost Management or an external Quantity Surveyor
  • Collect final project documentation in accordance with company standards
  • Support day-2 issues if their requirements extend beyond initial delivery
  • Implement standard operating procedures for project management across the Development organization
  • Ensure compliance with standard processes and company policies
About you
  • 2-4 years of experience with project management principles including schedule management, resource assignment, and risk reporting
  • Experience handling construction budgets and reporting on budget status
  • Ability to distill intricate situations into a clear, measurable project delivery plan
  • Knowledge of projects pertaining to real estate development and/or construction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of architectural and interior design standards and drawings
  • Basic MEP system knowledge and understanding of construction and planning regulations related to fire safety and occupancy
  • Understanding of the role of the Principal Designer and the CDM Regulations
  • Command of project management principles, tools, and management reporting
  • Ability to travel to job sites (London, Dublin, Cambridge, Manchester)
