The RoleThe team is involved in a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, ranging in scale and complexity. While not essential, experience in the education sector-particularly working with Department for Education frameworks, the CEM process, and SEN environments-would be beneficial.
This opportunity is suited to a creative and motivated professional who is confident leading projects and supporting teams. You will bring strong design capability, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities & Experience- Lead projects from concept through to delivery within a multidisciplinary team
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining design quality and programme targets
- Develop and present high-quality design proposals
- Prepare specifications using NBS software
- Apply BIM processes within project workflows
- Deliver work across all RIBA stages (0-7)
- Produce strong visual outputs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Compile reports and documents using Adobe InDesign
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, including those working towards Chartership
- Contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain strategies and Landscape & Ecological Management Plans (LEMPs)
- Degree and/or Master's in Landscape Architecture
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Minimum 3 years' post-chartership experience (UK or Ireland)
- Proven experience leading projects within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent design, communication, and report writing skills
- Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) experience
- Experience with Heritage Lottery-funded projects
- Horticultural knowledge
