Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

INSCALE, on behalf of JYSK, is looking to hire a dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to improve the CI/CD workflows, automate processes, and build the tooling and infrastructure with industry best practices to optimize the software delivery pipeline. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of JYSK's cross-channel e-commerce platform. Your work will directly impact the performance and scalability of services used in over 30 countries. The Site Reliability team is building tools, processes, and communities to make it easy to develop software the way JYSK wants to develop software.

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring digital products' reliability, stability, and performance, enhancing observability, and minimizing downtime.

You'll be at the forefront of innovation, working with newer technology, frameworks, and platforms to drive impactful solutions and elevate systems and processes, including:

• Take technical ownership of systems, technology, or application areas, driving solution designs and mentoring colleagues.

• Lead project breakdowns and Agile processes, setting direction and ensuring effective collaboration.

• Maintain continuous personal and professional development, with responsibility for self-improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.

• Implement/integrate new technologies into Cloud Infrastructure.

Experience Requirements

Must-Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions

• Must have proven programming experience in e.g. Java, .NET, Python, or Go

• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Containers

• Proficiency with Ansible and Tower, Terraform

• Virtual Machines/Linux server experience

• Proficient communication skills in English

Good to Have:

• Site reliability engineering

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
