Responsibilities:
- Design, deployment, and ongoing operation of core systems.
- Maintain a mix of hypervisors, VMs, containers, and bare-metal environments.
- Build out automation, monitoring, and tooling to keep systems scalable, secure, and reliable.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems (RedHat or Debian based).
- Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or ideally Python; familiarity with Windows environments.
- Confidence working with virtualization and container orchestration platforms.
- Experience building and managing monitoring and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible or Puppet).
