Senior Human Resources Manager

Our client, a leader in the meat packing manufacturing industry, is looking for a full-time Sr. HR Manager for their Roscrea location (onsite only).

This role would be M-F 8am-5pm, with a 39-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of HR functions for all headcount on site and additional locations
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and workforce forecasting to serve operational needs
• Manage recruitment initiatives including referral programmes and liaise with agency partners to fulfil staffing requirements
• Manage the payroll and time tracking set up for all employees
• Complete all work verification processes and full onboarding cycle
• Coordinate with Safety, Quality, Training and Operations to ensure quality induction to the organisation
• Manage the housing distribution and allocation
• Coach and support managers through employee engagement and performance management processes
• Lead and support all disciplinary and grievances processes, including proper documentation and investigations
• Monitor training activities and coordinate training for new hires and existing employees as needed
Maintain knowledge and communication of all employment legislation changes
• Build strong relationships with all Trade Union Shop Stewards and maintain good communication with employee representatives
• Work closely with plant managers and safety Coordinators to ensure documentations are in place and recorded

What Skills You Need

• 5-10+ years in an HR Manager or similar Senior level role
• CIPD qualification is ideal
• Experience working in the manufacturing, food manufacturing, farming or agricultural industries is preferred
• Experience working in a unionised environment
• Ability to work fully onsite at the Roscrea location
• Hands on role working closely with managers and supervisors
• Familiarity with HR and workforce management systems
