Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers
  • Develop your team ensuring high-quality service across the business
  • Support and oversee organisational initiatives like restructures and integration activities
  • Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters
  • Partner with leaders on workforce requirements and development opportunities
  • Represent the business in union consultations and forums
  • Own the development, implementation and improvement of HR policies
  • Champion a high-performance culture by supporting and developing managers
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee recruitment activities
  • Lead and support HR projects and people initiatives
  • Support HR Senior Manager on strategic priorities
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role
  • Strong track record of leading HR activity and delivering practical, business-focused people solutions
  • Sound knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting organisational change programmes including TUPE, restructures and business integration activities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Commercially minded with ability to balance operational business priorities with people needs
  • Previous experience in a similar role - ideally CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Customer-focused attitude with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
