Senior Healthcare Assistant - Wellesley/Southend Wards, Part Time 22 hrs per week. Spire Wellesley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities- To assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of patient care in a clean and safe environment.
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients.
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person.
Duties and responsibilities include the items listed above and any other reasonable duties as required by the ward or hospital management.
Person Specification Qualifications- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care / Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a hospital environment.
- Theatre/minor ops experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in ECGs, taking blood pressures and patient observations (Desirable).
- Good team work ethic.
