Job Description
Cure Talent are delighted to be working with an innovative early-stage MedTech company developing next-generation BioElectronics technology. As the business continues to grow and progresses its technology towards clinical use, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team in Dublin. The successful Senior Hardware Engineer will take a genuinely hands-on role in the development of complex electronic medical devices, spending significant time in the lab designing, building, testing and debugging hardware. You'll work across the full hardware lifecycle, from early prototypes and PCB design through to system integration, validation and production. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, highly technical team at an exciting stage of development, with significant autonomy and the opportunity to directly influence both the technology and future products. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits, schematics and PCBs. Build, bring up, test and debug prototype and production hardware. Perform PCB rework, failure analysis and hands-on laboratory troubleshooting. Develop test protocols and support device testing, verification and validation activities. Work closely with firmware and software engineers on hardware integration and new board development. Support hardware development from initial concept through to finished product and production. What We're Looking For: Degree-qualified Electronic Engineer or equivalent, with significant hands-on hardware development experience. Strong analogue and digital circuit design, schematic capture and PCB design experience. Practical experience with PCB bring-up, soldering, rework and hardware debugging. Experience with embedded electronics and electronic product development. Confident using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, bench power supplies and other laboratory equipment. Medical device experience and knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 would be highly advantageous. Experience with Altium, EMI/EMC testing, C/C++ or Python would also be beneficial
